How to increase the soybean yield?!

⭐️ SOYBEANS – HOW TO BOOST YIELDS?!

👨‍🌾 Soybeans are gaining increasing popularity among farmers every year and have become a strategic crop for Ukraine

✏️ Let’s briefly look at the peculiarities of soybean cultivation, focusing on specific growth phases and how to improve productivity.

↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓

1️⃣ EMERGENCE – 1st TRIFOLIATE LEAF

During this period, plants do not yet have true leaves and are very susceptible to stress. The root system is poorly developed, and nutrition is limited, partly due to the seed reserves. To quickly pass through this period (from emergence to the appearance of the first trifoliate leaf), it is necessary to accelerate root and vegetative mass growth.

✅ Solution: seed treatment with complex micronutrients and biostimulants (emphasis on Phosphorus, Zinc, and auxins). POWERFOL ENERGY SEEDS (1.5-2.5 l/ton) or NOVALON SEED TREATMENT (0.75-1.2 kg/ton) are ideal.

2️⃣ 1st – 3rd TRIFOLIATE LEAVES

During this period, soybeans are most resistant to herbicides against broadleaf weeds, so all herbicide applications should ideally be done during this period.

3️⃣ 2nd – 4th TRIFOLIATE LEAVES

Formation of true leaves and internodes, initiation of lateral shoots, and flower buds occur during this period. Treatment with complex micronutrients and stimulation of growth processes are necessary.

✅ Solution: NOVALON FOLIAR 20-20-20+0.5 MgO+ME (1 kg/ha) ➕ SPEEDFOL B (0.5 kg/ha) ➕ POWERFOL FitoFarm (0.5 l/ha) – a biostimulant for the formation of sufficient lateral shoots and a robust root system.

4️⃣ 4th TRIFOLIATE LEAF – BEGINNING OF BUDDING Late herbicide treatments are still permissible during this period, which is the latest stage for applying herbicides against broadleaf weeds – the beginning of budding. ❗️It is essential to remember that herbicide application at the start of budding may abort the lower bean pods.

5️⃣ BUDDING – BEGINNING OF FLOWERING

Formation of generative organs and flower initiation, the future yield potential. Provide favorable conditions for flower pollination and pod setting.

✅ Solution: during this period, treatment with NOVALON FOLIAR 10-45-15+0.5MgO+ME (1-1.5 kg/ha) – a complex micronutrient fertilizer emphasizing Phosphorus and Potassium ➕ SPEEDFOL B (0.8-1 kg/ha) ➕ SPEEDFOL AMINO CALMAG (0.5 l/ha) – a stress reliever with a high concentration of free L-amino acids.

6️⃣ POD FILLING – MATURATION Final yield indicators are formed during this stage, as quality can still be influenced. To increase protein and oil content, foliar application of complex micronutrients (emphasis on Nitrogen and Potassium) and stress relievers to extend plant activity can be conducted.

✅ Solution: SPEEDFOL AMINO CALMAG (0.5 l/ha) – a stress reliever with a high concentration of free L-amino acids ➕ NOVALON FOLIAR 9-12-40+0.5MgO+ME (1-1.5 kg/ha) or POWERFOL Oil Crop (1-2 l/ha) – a complex micronutrient fertilizer emphasizing Nitrogen and micronutrients.

📣 Remember, we work on quantity until the full flowering stage, and then we focus on quality of the yield!
